Adult Education: A Tool for the Eradication of Juvenile Delinquency

Abstract

Nigeria is becoming increasingly industrialized and automated, signaling the dawn of the computerized and cybernetic age. But the challenges of the new technological age must also be addressed as we head for the time when people will spend more hours in leisure than work. This is where education must not only be about society but also for the society, especially for the development of values. Here, we highlight the eradication of juvenile delinquency using adult education as an instrument. We discussed some important terms or concepts such as adult education and juvenile delinquency, types of juvenile delinquency, juvenile justice and the correctional institutions for juveniles.
