Abstract
Familial Graves’ disease in a mother and two daughters
Graves’ disease is characterized by primary hyperthyroidism, diffuse goitre, and possibly exophthalmos and pretibial myxedema along with autoantibodies. Familial Graves’ disease has been infrequently described in the literature and is underreported in the nation. This report describes an instance of familial Graves’ disease in a mother and two siblings, as well as their findings and treatment using Nuclear medicine techniques.
