Un syndrome d’activation macrophagique révélant un lymphome de Hodgkin Macrophage activation syndrome revealing Hodgkin’s lymphoma

Abstract

Macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) is a rare immunological syndrome, rapidly fatal in the absence of specific etiological treatment. It is defined by clinical, biological and cyto-histological criteria. Numerous etiologies have been described in MAS. It has been rarely linked with Hodgkin lymphoma (HL). We report the case of a young woman with a Hodgkin’s lymphoma revealed by a macrophage activation syndrome.

Le syndrome d’activation macrophagique (SAM) est un syndrome immunologique rare, d’évolution rapidement fatale en l’absence de traitement étiologique spécifique. Il est défini par des critères cliniques, biologiques et cyto-histologiques. Nombreuses étiologies ont été décrites dans le SAM, l’association à un lymphome de Hodgkin(LH) est exceptionnelle. Nous rapportons l’observation d’une jeune femme chez qui un syndrome d’activation macrophagique a révèlé un lymphome de Hodgkin.
