Access To Information In Uganda: An Examination Of Recent Developments
Abstract
This comment examines Uganda\'s 2005 Access to Information Act, and points
out a number of critical issues that have been left out of the legislation, and those that are likely to undermine its effective implementation. Several recommendations are made that would ensure that the Act is rendered more workable and effective within the context of existing conditions in the country.
